etc.Īlways a good idea to practise on a blank default 'test' route before attempting to work on the actual route. Again, asking for more 'generalised' help on here will be a long drawn out affair, as you will have to keep stopping to wait for replies - some of which could be days comming! Much simpler and easier to follow a youtube tutorial so that you can watch / pause / try / play / watch again / pause / try again. Try this page to get you started > Īlso, as above, ask specific questions here in the forum for which you have been unable to find suitable answers elsewhere. You can create a scenario yourself, where you have to shunt cars in a yard, or extend the route in whichever direction you want (be sure to make a copy of that route first!).įurther to the above, if you use the key-word 'Railworks' in your searches, it generally tends to get more results. If you find building a route, even a small one, a bit daunting, note that you can also edit existing routes. As you said you aren't looking for something time consuming, this may be just the thing for you. I've found it helpful (and still do) to have a sandbox scenario with the default template and no special coordinates simply to play with what the builder has to offer. Some things aren't covered in tutorials or aren't commonly mentioned, such as shift-clicking to change a link's direction. If you've exhausted the search bar, then by all means ask the community for help. There is a wide range of tutorials available there, both old and new (the editor hasn't changed much since the original Rail Simulator). I can tell you that YouTube will provide you with more assistance than waiting for a response on here. I've been using the builder for most of my time in TS.
